Well, the Softub passed the acid test last night. I came home from hockey (1 – 1 ½ hours of four on four on the Olympic size rink) totally exhausted but wired. I sat in the tub from about 1:30 to 1:45, dried off and went to bed. I must have been asleep within ten minutes, and woke up at 7:30 this morning. If this represents my new pattern, it is a great improvement!!

We just wanted you to know how much we have enjoyed our hot tub since purchasing it late last year. You were so kind to us and helped us load the Softub into our truck and tie it down, etc. We have used it almost every night since we purchased and have shared it with our friends and family. Just wanted to tell you that we are still “in love” with it.

I am an active senior, almost eighty years old. My Softub has provided welcome therapy after tennis and especially in the damp cold northern Ohio weather. I use it once a day as it completely restores me. Softub is compact, reliable, and easily maintained. I would not be without it. Since I have a hip and knee replacement it is especially appreciated.

Just wanted to thank you for always being available if we have a question or are in need of supplies. Your fast response is a tribute to the support you give your customers. It is nice to know that there are people like you who back up their products in a fast and efficient manner. We are very happy with our Softub and you too. We heartily recommend you to anyone interested in your products. A Softub is like a microwave oven, a color TV, or air-conditioning to us now, we don’t know how we lived without one for so many years. Thanks again Jim.

..It is like floating on water, water so warm it relaxes the body into a comfortable sleep. The beauty lies in the convenience of the moment to be able to use it at any given moment, any time of day. The set up took less than one hour from setting it up and filling it with water. We “bought a house” to have a Softub, and everyone who sees it considers getting one.

How long have these been around?
We have been manufacturing Softubs since 1987 and some of our first tubs are still in customer's backyards.

Where are they made?
We have two manufacturing plants. Our west coast plant is in Valencia, California, outside of Los Angeles, and our east coast plant is in New Bedford, Massachusetts, outside of Boston. We also have service facilities all over the United States if you need help.

What are they made of, are they inflatable?
No, they are not inflatable. They are made of space-age, high-density foam that is extremely strong yet lightweight. That means you will be able to move the tub inside or outside without any help.

Do they go inside or outside?
Because they are made so tough and lightweight they can go anywhere but the vast majority of Softubs are used outside.

How long will they last?
Talk about peace of mind, we have many Softub spas still in operation after over 15 years of service.

How well does the vinyl hold up outside?
The vinyl is a marine grade vinyl that is designed to withstand the harshest climates and sun. That means with care you can expect to get many years of service.

How much does it cost to operate?
Softubs are easy on the pocketbook. The average cost to operate a Softub spa outside nationwide is between $6 and $10 per month.

How does it heat with no heater?
We use a revolutionary heat recovery system which uses the heat created by the pump motor. What that means to you is operating costs that are a fraction of the cost of a hard tub, a reduction of service problems, and extension of the life of the motor by keeping it cool.

How hot does it get?
Our thermostat can be set as high as 104 degrees Fehrenheit, the same as all hot tubs. No matter what temperature you select it's ready for you when you are ready to relax.

How do you treat the water?
We include a water treatment kit with every Softub spa that fully explains the treatment process. To make maintenance as simple as possible we also have a patented, fully automatic, ozone injection system that significantly reduces the amount of chemicals needed to keep your tub clean and sanitary. That means less time and less money out of your pocket to keep your tub sparkling clean.

How much do they weigh when full of water?
A 220 gallon Softub spa weighs 1972 pounds including the pak, lid and tub. Check with your builder but most new decks can easily support a Softub spa and a few of your friends.

What kind of preparation is required to install a Softub Spa?
The great news is all you need is a level surface and an electric outlet. The Softub spa is the go anywhere hot tub, unlike hard tubs which required a concrete pad or reinforced platform to support their heavy weight.

Will I need an electrician or plumber to hook it up?
No, although almost all hard tubs do require expensive electrical work to install, the Softub spa is designed for anyone to install themselves and they plug into a standard 115 volt outlet. With our Smart Chip ® we take the worry out of any power surges or brown outs.
